The difference between my work now and my previous one still strikes me. Sure I frequently feel overwhelmed and well, frankly, overworked, but I would rather be these now than go back to where I was about a couple of months ago.
The difference, I guess, is while my work now is considerably heavier, it is more challenging and, thus, more likely to help me learn new things.
It helps that I feel we are working for a worthy cause that makes it worth all the time and effort we put in.
They really weren’t kidding when they said you should find a job where you like what you do. I can’t ever imagine myself going back to anything like my job before. Ever. Well, I hope circumstances won’t ever force me to go back! In the meantime, I shall learn all I can!
(A pointless post really. Just wanted to tell the world what a relief it is to find work that I actually like!)

(oo. BITTER pa rin ako!)
in our world,
that the petals pooled with nectar, and the polished thorns
are a single thing—
that even the purest light, lacking the robe of darkness,
would be without expression—
that love itself, without its pain, would be
no more than a shruggable comfort.” —Mary Oliver
