Hesitation to use the I may be a tell-tale sign that the I does not know itself fully. Or maybe the I doesn’t know which I, of the many different Is, to use. In any case, there is an I. And there is a You. The You is validated by the I. There couldn’t be a You without the I. But the I also becomes a You through the validation of I through You. And so, the I also exists thanks to You. And so to You who is reading this confused speech of I, THANK YOU. I's existence has become meaningful because of You.______________________________
This blog won't pretend to be hilariously funny or witty or beautiful or profound. But it is an indulgence of all sorts of things that appeal to my senses. Anything I find funny, witty, beautiful, meaningful and worth noticing is found here._______________________________

“Fiction has been maligned for centuries as being “false,” “untrue,” yet good fiction provides more truth about the world, about life, and even about the reader, than can be found in non-fiction.”Clark Zlotchew
“Only gradually do you come to appreciate that the occupation you aspire to is harder than you thought, that the supply of other young, self-anointed apples of their own eyes is inexhaustible, and that you’re not as uniquely gifted as you’d thought … It’s surely a fine emotional art—dousing your hollow hauteur without quenching the fire in your belly altogether—but the kids who master it come out the other side both shit-hot at their professions and bearable as human beings.”Lionel Shriver, Big Brother (via proseprunings)
Benedict Cumberbach to be in Star Wars VII - Lynnette may have to add another bunch of pages in next year’s edition of Benedict Cumberbatch, In Transition according to the gossip today… the Japanese version was updated to include Star Trek - now Star Wars?
Wait. What? Seriously? Oh, Mr. Cumberbatch, Sir, you are on a rooooooll.
Benedict Cumberbatch is pictured on a night out with Downtown Abbey actress Laura Carmichael. They spent the night in the bar at the Camden Roundhouse where Lady Gaga was performing. He was seen flipping off photographers as he joked with the female actress at the bar.[HQ]
I see B had stars in his eyes last night. No wait-make that STRAWS
Adorkable Benny. <3
One of the reasons why I love working with kids
Nagsimula ang araw ko na haggard. I arrived at the centre with a haphazardly done hair (kulot ako, so you can just imagine what that looks like), no make up, and a generally frazzled look.
Imagine my surprise when I entered the centre and I was greeted by one of my co-teacher’s students saying something I feel the complete opposite of:
T: *Pumasok sa pinto and was greeted by a crowded lobby. Katatapos lang kasi ng sessions. I then saw Kaykay (sp?) and said* Good Afternoon, Kaykay!
K: *she stared at me at first and then mumbled something*
T: *stooped down and repeated my greeting* Good afternoon, Kaykay!
K: *whispered something na hindi ko pa rin naintindihan*
T: Hm? What was that?
K: You’re so beautiful.
T: *natameme* Awwww. Thank you, KK! <3
Hindi ko alam kung anong nakita niya, baka nakita niya ang flowered dress ko, or ang curly hair ko, or ang haphazard braids ko, but there you go. Children don’t lie, right? Hahahaha! chos! :P
Kapag kailangan mo ng external source of affirmation, go work with kids. I swear, hahaba ang hair mo sa kanila. :))))
“Urbanears, a Swedish headphones maker, is trying something new. Instead of tossing large stocks of unsold headphones, the company disassembles them and uses the ear cups, headbands, and hinges to create the Re:Plattan headphones. Each pair has brand-new guts, contains about 60 percent repurposed material, and, because the components vary in color, has its own unique look.”
Headphones made of 60% repurposed material? Waaaaay cool!
